Akabo Media is a growing and ambitious business-to-business (B2B) publishing and events company. Operating across the logistics, supply chain, transport, and robotics industries, we produce a range of leading magazines, exhibitions, conferences, and awards, both in the UK and overseas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and analyse data and market information from a variety of sources.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to compile market insights and trends to inform conference and exhibition content.
- Analyse data to a high level of accuracy and formulate concise written reports.
- Develop high-quality graphical representations of data, analyses, and learnings.
- Providing support to team members on data analysis-related tasks.
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating on project planning and execution.
- Carry out analysis to accelerate Research & Development projects.
- Format and help devise market research surveys.
- Help generate questionnaires for events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Ad hoc research and analysis to support campaign activities as required.
- Creativity and the ability to spot opportunities to help us continually innovate.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE
- University graduate in a discipline with significant content in research methods and quantitative analysis.
- Outstanding analytical skills and familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering quality analytics.
- Excellent writing skills, particularly in preparing clear, concise, and well-structured reports.
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills and the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
- Experienced in story telling using data, including to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable with deadlines and working with changing priorities.
- Experience with STATA beneficial.
