Research and Development Apprentice

Do you have a passion for science? Do you want to study for a Chemical Science degree whilst getting hands on experience, and avoid university debt? Our Research & Development Apprenticeship Scheme will develop you as a scientist, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to tackle a variety of scientific challenges. You’ll work within a variety of our R&D teams, whilst completing your degree across a five-year programme. You will receive tailored on the job training as part of your apprenticeship to set you up for success and support you in managing your own projects.
Working in our state of the art £100m Science and Innovation Centre, you’ll assist in the product development process from feasibility to full scale manufacturing for our market leading brands as well as support in the management of daily activities in our world class laboratories. You’ll be supported throughout your apprenticeship by highly experienced and knowledgeable industry experts who will help you develop a whole range of new skills.
About the role
The experience we're looking for
You’re studying towards A Level sciences or equivalent, with a passion for science and healthcare. You’ve an appetite for learning but want to see science in action and are prepared to invest some of your own time into your studies outside of the working week. You’re excited to work with a degree of autonomy and are able to manage your time effectively and juggle multiple priorities. An effective communicator you work well within a dynamic team and a fast-paced environment.
