Research Fellow in Sport & Performance Psychology

Grade G £31,601 - £36,371 per annum

This is a full-time fixed term contract for 9.5 months from August 2024.

About the Role

Applications are sought from suitably qualified candidates to support the evaluation of the UK Sports Institute's (UKSI) Mental Health Strategy. This research has been funded by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre. The role will include supporting a process and impact evaluation alongside the research team, led by Dr. Samuel Giles and supported by Drs. Ella McLoughlin, Julie Johnston, Mustafa Sarkar and Laura Healy. The successful candidate will undertake quantitative and qualitative data collection with key stakeholders within UKSI and the High Performance System, and contribute to analysis and dissemination of the results. We are looking for outstanding candidates with a strong background of research in Sport & Performance Psychology. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience of working or researching within high performance/elite sport and with an understanding of mental health and/or evaluation design in Sport contexts.
