Graduate Conference Producer

Our client produces B2B conferences and events within the legal, finance and insurance sector for clients worldwide.

They are looking for a Junior Conference Producer for a growing team within their insurance/reinsurance brand for European and USA markets.

Joining their dynamic conference production team you’ll be someone who is confident working with a high degree of autonomy (remote working) and play a key role in developing conference programmes that drive growth.You’ll build effective working relationships with external stakeholders and work with marketing, sales and operations to project manage conferences from conception to delivery. Full and ongoing training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Analysis: Carry out in-depth phone based research with senior insurers to obtain detailed insight into industry challenges,hot trends, critical industry challenges and audience profiles
• Agenda Development: Translate your research into compelling and commercially viable conference agendas designed to attract speakers,sponsors and delegates
• Speaker Acquisition: Identify and recruit executive level speakers from leading insurance companies and reinsurance providers to speak at conferences and webinars
• Project Management: Work collaboratively with internal teams (marketing, operations, and sales) to ensure conferences are executed smoothly, in time and on budget
• Content Marketing & Copywriting: Produce compelling content to support lead generation and create copy for websites, email marketing and social media to maximise delegate engagement
• Sponsor & Stakeholder Management: Work proactively with our commercial partners to develop bespoke content that appeals to their target audience

What you'll need:

• A2:1 degree (orequivalent)
• Proven research skills especially phone-based research
• Commercial acumen—the ability to interpret market dynamics
• Copywriting—confident at creating copy to support lead generation and delegate engagement
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, and the ability to get on well with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders

Good time management skills, and the ability to manage several tasks concurrently to meet deadlines
