Transition & Resettlement and Rapid Rehousing Services Brighton & Hove 37 hours per week £24,050 - £25,396 per annum Do you want a career that is rewarding and helps make a difference to homelessness in Brighton & Hove? Who Are We? The Transition & Resettlement team works in partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council's Homeless services and other key agencies across the city as part of the local strategy to reduce homelessness. What are we looking for? We are looking for motivated individuals with the aptitude and attitude to support people with experience of homelessness and complex needs, including mental health support needs, to move into and manage their own homes, make their tenancy a success, and to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. You will be given your own caseload to manage, and support will be delivered either in the community or in people's own homes. You will be working as part of a team with an office base in central Brighton & Hove. The successful candidate will have a dynamic approach to working with people who have experience of trauma, homelessness, and mental health support needs. Flexibility, resourcefulness and resilience are key to the role. Travel expenses will be paid, either for car users or travel by public transport. Car allowance (if applicable) is £1,000 per year.
