Location: Waterbeach, Cambs

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000

Hours: 37.5 hours a week (hybrid)

Purpose: This role is designed to support the Finance Director in various financial activities, including the creation and presentation of monthly management accounts, analysis of financial data, and contributing to ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Essential Duties:

Working collaboratively with the finance department and partnering with Sales and Operations teams:

• Complete month-end tasks/journals to create the monthly management accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Supplemental Clarity reports.
• Complete monthly VAT returns.
• Prepare quarterly Inventory provision and obsolescence analysis.
• Provide accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, covering prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Support cross-functional teams to enhance the financial performance of the company.
• Update Sales pricing within the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Conduct quarterly reporting, analyzing key metrics affecting the balance sheet and P&L compared to prior periods.
• Perform monthly Overhead analysis.
• Cover weekly cash forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including US SOX compliance.
• Assist with interim and year-end audits.
• Analyze financial information to contribute to business profitability and growth.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience in a finance department of a global, multi-product company.
• Recently qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience within a group finance structure.
• Power BI or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of US SOX requirement
