Management Accountant

Due to an internal promotion our client, a multinational company, are now looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Cambridge and be supporting the Europe region.  The role will be hub hybrid, working 1 to 2 days in the Cambridge office. You will have solid accounting experience and be the main hub for accounting queries from internal and external stakeholders, you will be reviewing financial reporting, balances, profit and loss, and cash flow and producing monthly reports.
As the Management Accountant you will be:

• Transaction reporting
• Providing solutions and reviewing processes and procedures
• Providing a record of liabilities, assets and other transactions
• Working on complex assignments and problem solving
• Training junior staff
• Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly management accounts

As the Management Accountant you will have:

• Proven accounting experience, ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
• Experience of maintaining one or more accounting systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of managing staff
• External audit process experience
• Experience of working in practice and industry knowledge
