Residential Child Support Worker

Hays recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a national organisation, who are looking for experienced child-care workers to join their team to offer support for children with emotional behavioural difficulties within their children's home in Liverpool or Warrington (whichever you prefer!).
Your new role

• · Supporting children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.
• · Aiding in aspects of daily support such as emotional and educational support.
• · Carrying out care plans commissioned by the Local Authority for each child.
• · Carrying out domestic duties such as cooking and cleaning.
• · Building strong relationships with colleagues and care users to promote caring childcare practises, develop the independence and build the self-esteem of the children and young people.
• · Day and night shifts available.
• · 39 hours per week.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• · Communicate effectively and be a genuinely caring and thoughtful individual,
• · Previous experience working with children.
• · To have a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People\'s workforce or be willing to work towards
