Residential Child Support Worker

Your new role
As a Child Support Worker you will provide direct service to children who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other difficulties that affect their well-being and development. You will work with children in a residential setting, and help children cope with their emotions, learn new skills, build positive relationships, and access the resources they need.
As a Child Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assess the needs of each child and create a personalised plan of support
• Provide emotional, practical, and educational support to children and their families
• Monitor and record the progress and outcomes of each child
• Attend training and supervision to develop your knowledge and skills

What you'll need to succeed

• Communicate effectively and be a genuinely caring and thoughtful individual,
• Previous experience working with children.
• To have a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's workforce or be willing to work towards
