Your new role
At our Secure Unit, we provide a safe and supportive environment for children and adolescents who require intensive care due to complex mental health needs. Our primary focus is on protection, crisis intervention, and creating a positive pathway for their future.
As a Secure UnitChild Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the well-being of our residents. Here's what you can expect:

• l Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals, social workers, and other agencies.
• l Daily Activities: Facilitate daily routines and activities within the Secure Unit.
• l Effective Communication: Maintain open communication with service users, their families, visitors, and fellow staff members.
• l Learning Environment: Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment for both residents and support staff.
• l Mentoring: Support and guide our team of dedicated Support Workers.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• l Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• l Professionalism: Display enthusiasm, aptitude, and professionalism.
• l Training: We offer an in-house training program to prepare you for any situation.
