Residential childcare support worker - Career progression

NonStop Social Care is looking for a Residential childcare support worker to join a National Charity in Islington.
The national charity is well-known to provide residential, supported housing and fostering services to vulnerable children and young people. Responsibilities
The Residential childcare support worker will be working on-site in the residential home providing direct support to children and young people in the home. You will follow an established shift pattern and work during the day only.
This is a day time role! Your shifts will be during the day morning hours or afternoon. (e.g. 08am - 4pm and 3pm to 23pm)
This role will require you to be able to do an average of 2 sleep-ins per week, paid at 50 each, so the salary is 25,738, plus sleep-ins (potential to earn up to 30,538 per annum)
You will have 2 weekends off per month.
You will be involved into providing a safe, loving and happy home, helping the children and young people to achieve their potential and a bright future.
Requirements
Please apply if:
- you have experience working with children, young people in a residential or/and semi-independent provision
- you have at least 1 year of experience working with young people helping them to reach their full potential - ideally in residential setting
