We have two unique children's home located close to each other in Bournemouth, supporting children with learning disabilities to feel safe, not just in their homes but also in the surrounding area. Our team is dedicated to supporting children's individual hobbies, needs, and skills and making meaningful memories.
We are looking to recruit dynamic, innovative, caring, and experienced Children's Support Workers to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children s lives, as well as furthering your current Children s Care experience. We can offer Full Time or Part time hours depending on your availability

We offer our Experienced Children s Support Workers:
For qualified Support workers, £31,812.30 per annum (Qualified NVQ Level 3 in Residential child care or equivalent):
- Completed Level 3 in Residential Childcare £12.45 per hour (£24,277.50 per year for full time hours)
- Additional sleep-in shifts available paid at £63 per night amounting to £7,534.80 per annum
Childrens Support workers earn up to £31,227.30 per annum (Not-qualified):
- Support workers without Level 3 in Residential Childcare basic rate of pay from £12.15 per hour (£23,692.50 per year for full time hours)
- Additional sleep-in shifts available paid at £63 per night amounting to £7,534.80 per annum
As a Children s Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a corporate parent to care for, support and meet the needs of the children
- Cooking, cleaning, assisting with homework and participating in activities
- Safeguarding and promoting welfare of children
- To ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard
- Supporting Children and young people with appointments/health checks

The home will use a therapeutic approach and will use the PACE model of parenting in order to support our children and young people who have experienced trauma and difficulties. Therefore experience working with children in a support setting is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 1 year experience working with Children
- Full driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Hours:
- 3 week rolling rota (work 1 in 3 weekends)
- 15.5 hour shifts
- Sleep- ins
