The role
To provide a key service in the day-to-day operation, the Residential Facilities Team Leader (Cleaning) is required to organise a team of RF Supervisors (Cleaning) to ensure that staff, students and visitors are provided with a cleaning service that maintains a safe, clean and hygienic environment.
You will work with the Residential FM in the management and development of the cleaning teams ensuring resources are appropriately planned and allocated in accordance with requirements and agreed budgets.
What will you be doing?
The role is predominantly administrative in nature, with responsibility for training, monitoring and supervision of directly line managed staff. There will also be an operational element, where the post holder is expected to be within the residential properties covering where necessary and carrying out operational cleaning duties
You should apply if
Previous experience of managing a large team of staff is desirable and good communication skills and customer care skills are essential.
You will communicate with and work alongside staff at all levels to ensure good co-ordination/liaison during the progress of work.
It is particularly important to be adaptable when time pressures mean that alterations in work pattern are necessary to ensure the continued functioning of the building.
