Job Title:Residential Property Assistant

Salary: Up to 27,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm

About Our Client
Our client a reputable law firm based in Portsmouth, specialising in Residential Property law. Our firm prides itself on delivering exceptional service to our clients and maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Assistant to join our client's team and provide dedicated support to one fee earner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to one fee earner specializing in residential conveyancing.
- Assist with the management of a busy caseload, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within specified timeframes.
- Liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties involved in property transactions.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, leases, and completion statements.
- Conduct property searches and assist with due diligence processes.
- Handle pre-completion matters, including exchange of contracts and completion arrangements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records using our case management system.
- Assist with billing and financial transactions related to property transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in residential conveyancing.
- Knowledge and understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish.
- Completion of CPS training is essential.
- Experience working with case management systems, preferably Red Brick.
- Familiarity with Quill software is desirable.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
