We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Resilience Risk Specialist, Digital Assets and Currencies (DAC) Senior Manager

The role holder will lead and work alongside other risk stewards in managing all digital risk asset activities across Risk.

This is a high level role within our function and the holder is responsible for supporting the establishment and adherence to standards for the management of risks relating to DAC as set out in the Group’s Risk Appetite and Risk Management Framework for Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk Management, and DAC related risks are managed within appetite.

This role requires an established and experienced Senior Manager, who can authoritively, and credibly, interact with executive stakeholders at C suite level across all lines of defence in the bank.

In this role, you will:

•    Lead the deployment of deep subject matter expertise around Digital Asset & Currencies risk management globally
•    Assess the risk profile of new DAC initiatives is in line with our risk appetite as part of new product approval process
•    Promote and develop Digital Asset risk awareness and risk management culture in order to ensure that the material risks are both evident and effectively managed
•    Support ERM Business & Functions team to explain in non-technical terms the impact of issues or events, and top and emerging risks that may require changes (for example, to controls, resources or business operations) to remain within respective risk appetites
•    Understand and manage any emerging DAC related risks and its impact on our business and risk profile

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Strong level of risk management knowledge and relevant Technology risk experience 
•    Have the ability to challenge practices and capabilities while maintaining a strong working relationship with the teams involved
•    Relevant experience in leading regulatory and audit engagement pertaining to Digital Asset Management
•    The role requires the ability to guide, persuade and influence others through the developed skills of communication and diplomacy.

The base location for this role is London – Hybrid working
