Astrum Search is working alongside a leading global law firm to recruit a Risk & Assurance Specialist.
Reporting to the Head of Risk & Assurance, this newly created role will play an integral part in the overall development of the firms risk management strategy.
The Risk & resilience team has been expanding over the last 18 months as they have developed a new group-wide enterprise risk management framework. This role will assist in implementing the framework across the firm as well as take ownership of risk reporting and analytics. The level of exposure in this role is vast, and you can expect to be working directly with some of the most senior Partners in the firm.
The successful candidate will have a background in either risk management, internal controls, or internal audit, with a good understanding of the principles of risk management and risk methodologies.
Given the exposure the role offers, candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at the most senior level.
Experience of data analytics and visualisation tools (PowerBI or Python) are desirable.
