Title:Retail Assistant Manager

Job Type: Full time

Hours: 9:00am to 5.00pm (5 days over 7 on a rota basis)

Salary: Starting at £23,000 per annum (with achievable monthly incentive schemes which could increase your salary by up to 25%, plus an allowance of £500 pa for working some Sundays, on a rota basis)

Hours: 9:00am to 5.00pm, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis (Sunday 10am to 4pm)

You are certain to 'feel right at home' when you visit one of our stores, and even more at home when you become an integral part of the team.

Being part of the Store Management team, you will assist in the smooth running of the store; from promoting our products to customers, maximising sales to delivering excellent customer service. You will process stock arriving into the store and receive deliveries so you will need the ability to lift and handle stock. You will play an important role on the sales floor supporting your Store Manager in assisting our customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of a team to drive the success of the store
  • Merchandising and stock replenishment
  • Customer service/demonstrations and sales
  • Dealing with enquiries and being involved in administration
  • Maximizing the performance of store operational procedures and sales
  • Receiving (sometimes heavy) deliveries from Suppliers
  • Maintaining the appearance of the store to a high standard

Skills and experience you will have:

  • Previous involvement in offering an exceptional customer experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of teamwork
  • A proactive and flexible approach to all tasks

A full driving licence is essential for this role and a DBS disclosure will be required (for which Ableworld UK will meet the cost).
