Job Description
Retail & Online Sales Assistant Position at a small family run Islamic Book Store.
We are looking for a confident individual who has a passion for Retail Sales & Marketing.
The successful candidate will be required to
- Work on a newly set up e-commerce website
- Assisting stock control managers and company managers in maintaining stock levels
- Take complete instruction from management and respond to requests and directions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Serving Customers
- Making sure unit is clean by adhering to strict tasks and Covid-19 precautions.
- Perform daily marketing tasks
- Undertake workplace cleaning protocols.
Essential Skills:
- Customer Service Experiance
- E-Commerce experience
- MS Office
- Skills in direct sales and clienteling
- Proven track record of Social Media Marketing skills
- Excellent Customer Service & Listening Skills
- Experience within a Customer facing role
- Online Inventory Experience & Management
- Good time Management
- Online Retail Management
- Social Media Shops
Desired (but not essential) Skills:
- Digital Marketing experience
- Logistics experience
- Word Press and Shopify Website Building experience
- Bi-Lingual
- Photoshop illustrator experience
- Designing Experience
- Enthusiastic and bubbly personality
- Passion to learn new skills
(Minimum hours between 16 - 20hrs)

Contract
Temporary with possible extension
Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to a three-day paid training/trial.
