Recruitment Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a well known and reputable Doncaster based business to seek an experienced Retail Operations Assistant to work closely with their Customer Service Team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
- Management of stock movements between the warehouse and all stores
- Analysing in-store sales and stock levels to determine required replenishments
- Controlling in-store stock levels in line with the retail calendar and any upcoming promotions or other increased/decreased demand for stock
- Ensuring stores are fully equipped with relevant POS to allow full execution of promotions
- Assisting with day to day comms with store managers and staff
- Visiting stores to conduct training on merchandising, customer service etc
- Ensuring stores are fully compliant with any relevant paperwork and training such as risk assessments, fire, H&S
- Assisting with recruitment for in-store positions
- Where required picking stock to send to stores
- Attending off-site retail events in the retail vans often on weekends or evenings.
- Processing Sales invoices
- Programming handheld sales terminals.
- Investigating Stock loss and delivery discrepancies
- Providing daily additional support for Retail Area Manager
- Assisting with the opening and closing of any retail units
Personal attributes:
- Retail Management Supervisor and above and Merchandising skills are preferred.
- Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Good timekeeping, Reliable, organised, honest, and hard-working.
- Logical and methodical with good attention to detail.
- Enjoy a physical work environment.
- Ability to problem-solve, and a determination to maintain highest standards.

- Able to work on own initiative

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm with the occasional hours required on a weekend to travel to events/stores
