We are seeking an RFx/Proposal Technical Writerto join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Uxbridge, England office.
Job Summary
The RFx/Proposal Technical Writer is responsible for tracking, coordinating production, and ensuring the quality completion of RFx responses. RFx items for this team and this position include responses to requests for proposals/tenders and information (RFPs, RFTs, and RFIs) and information security questionnaires/risk assessments. This position will require a significant focus on IT security as well as working with subject matter experts with the relevant service/product/business knowledge. The interested candidate should either possess a background in or a strong interest and aptitude in IT security.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project manage and complete responses to both German and English RFx requests and information security/risk questionnaires, including tracking incoming requests, identifying and assigning content response owners, tracking progress and managing deadlines, reviewing final documents with the Senior Manager, RFx/Proposal Team, and delivering final responses on time.
- Help build and update RFx/proposal content management tools and associated collateral in German and English. This process involves collecting key questions and answers from submitted RFx responses, prepping asset documentation for upload, and working alongside product teams to refresh product information upon each release.
- Maintain relationships with key SMEs and other business partners throughout the organization to ensure accuracy of responses and collaborate with Imprivata departments to assure messaging integrity.
- Grow and maintain a working knowledge of Imprivata, Imprivata solutions, and RFx/proposal topics assigned to proactively support the quality and accuracy of standard RFx proposal content and responses.
- Actively contribute to the team’s success by fully engaging in assigned roles as part of group projects or overall department initiatives
- Remain flexible to organizational needs and participate in special projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or an applicable discipline related to Imprivata’s core business.
- At least 5 years of similar work experience.
- Fully fluent in both English and German (Level C2)
- Proficiency in additional languages (French) preferred, but not required
- Strong organization, project management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce
- Experience with proposal automation and content management tools (e.g., Loopio) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions across the organization at multiple levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
