ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for highly motivated field Sales Representatives to develop sales strategies and attract new clients, while successfully maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. The successful person will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve targets. They will also play a key role growing the Ridgeline brand within the UK by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products.
This role would suit someone who is a strong strategic thinker, commercially savvy, prides themselves on their creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and loves to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Use various customer sales methods to achieve individual sales targets.
Evaluate customer knowledge and needs, to build productive relationships.
Research potential accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
Plan and organise working week to visit and discuss opportunities with new and existing customers.
Travel throughout the territory visiting new and existing customers on a rotational basis.
Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Be responsible for ensuring each working day is used to optimum benefit for the business.
Provide product training for customers, to help them grow sales.
Attend and prepare for trade shows, nationally and internationally as and when required.
Proactively drive and develop your own product knowledge and demonstrate a willingness to continuously enhance your individual product and marketplace understanding.
WHO YOU ARE:
You have sales experience in a similar industry and environment, with a proven record of achieving sales targets. Preferably, you have worked in client-facing or service-led roles.
You possess a full repertoire of sales techniques, with a strong understanding of e-commerce and the outdoor/fashion clothing industry.
You are a brilliant communicator, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
You are self-driven, hard-working, organised and flexible, yet confident working as part of a small team.
You have a personal interest and understanding of the fashion, retail, or similar creative industry. Ideally, you love the outdoors and know the importance of having the right gear.
