Risk Manager- 6 month FTC Travel Insurance sector Hybrid working- 1 day a week required in the Horsham Office ( West Sussex) Full-Time/Permanent role Are you a Risk professional who would enjoy working with a business to set up a Risk function from the ground up? If so, this could be just the role for you Working in a business critical position within a rapidly growing Travel Insurance business, a newly created "Risk Manager role is being hired to identify and analyse various business and financial risks. The business are on the hunt for an experienced Risk Manager to support the Risk and Compliance Director in implementing a Risk management framework across the business. As part of this role you'll be developing risk management controls and contingency plans and communicating these recommendations to the senior management team,. As well this you'll be overseeing and carrying out a IRM (Integrated Risk Management) project to align with group requirements. Reviewing audit processes and procedures and supporting the development of a risk management controls and systems framework. Experience wise, you'll need proven experience as a Risk Manager as well as knowledge of Risk Assessment and Controls. You will also need to be up to date with the latest FOS, FCA, regulatory and legislative developments and best practices. You will be the main contact point in the business for all things Risk, so you must be a sound decision make and be able to work within tight deadlines. With regards to how you work- you'll need to be at the Horsham- Head Office, once a week, but other than that, location is flexible and up to you This Insurance business are currently going through an exciting period of innovation and growth and offers the right individual a opportunity to be made permanent after this initial contract finishes.
