Role Responsibilities:
- Provide risk and opportunity management and analysis across all phases of the project, including business winning.
- Develop the Project Risk & Opportunity Management plan that is compliant with policy, procedure and commercial requirements and ensure it is implemented.
- Develop and maintain the project risk register by managing the identification, assessment, analysis (including QRA and what if modelling) and prioritisation of risks, and the planning and implementation of risk treatment.
- Analysis of risk and production of risk performance reports with conclusions and recommendations to the project and business.
- Manage and control time and cost risk contingency and ensure the management of risk is aligned to business financial and commercial needs.
- Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
- Extensive experience in a specialist risk & opportunity position
- Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC3-NEC4/JCT etc.)
- Advanced risk & opportunity management techniques e.g. Monte Carlo Analysis
- Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out.
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering / project / construction management or a related field
- A postgraduate qualification is also desirable, as is membership in a professional body.
- Ideally APM qualified preferably to Chartered Project Professional (ChPP)
