Robotic Simulation Engineer - £35/hr - £40/hr - Outside IR35 - 12 Months - Hybrid working

Shorterm Group are partnered with a leading automation consultancy to recruit a new Robotic Simulation Engineer / Process Simulation Engineer to work on brand new projects for well-known Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs within the automotive space.
Day-to-day responsibilities for our new Robotic Simulation Engineer will include virtual environment build (importing tooling, assigning logic blocks, signals, Kinematics etc), Robot OLP creation from start to finish, Path Modifications, feasibility studies and Virtual Commissioning.
Key skills/experience for our new Robotic Simulation Engineer:
- Demonstrable experience using Siemens Process Simulate and/or Robcad BIW
- CAD tools like Catia / NX
- Solid scripting skills (Visual Basic, Python, C++ etc.)
- Must be open to spending x2 days/week in our Birmingham office and client site as required
