ABC Day Nursery in Tiptree, Colchester, are seeking to appoint a qualified Room Leader, our nursery is committed to providing excellent childcare in a friendly, welcoming and secure surrounding.
This position would suit an experienced person who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged between 0 - 5 years and is looking for an exciting career opportunity.
We love the great outdoors, and our nursery features open spaces for our children to enjoy, the nursery is open from 7.30am-6.00pm - Monday to Friday.
What do we need from you?
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery
Ensure that company policies and procedures are embedded, applied and adhered to by all
Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations
Embed effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff
Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources which are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Promote a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
Participate in all activities related to nursery publications, advertising, public relations, the web site, and other marketing activities designed to promote the nursery
Promote positive relations with an approachable manner and time to listen to your team
Develop a well-qualified and experienced team that meets and exceeds all relevant standards

Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:
NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - desirable
Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - essential
Fluent in written and spoke to English - essential
