37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days (Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm and Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm)

Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Batley Grammar School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all young people. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

We aim to combine our traditional ethos and culture together with a modern approach to teaching and learning. We are seeking to appoint a capable Safeguarding and Child Protection lead to join our Team. The successful applicant will play a critical leadership role in school, inspiring confidence and work with learners and staff to create a shared strategic vision which motivates all. Develop and implement strategies to support the pastoral care of all young people and ensure their success and achievement both socially and academically, with a particular focus on attendance.
