Due to the promotion of the current postholder, we are seeking a talented, determined, creative and solution focussed Safeguarding and Welfare Officer.
In addition to being the lead Child Protection Officer the role requires an individual who can build strong relationships with families, represent the school at multi-agency meetings, lead Early Help plans and work collaboratively in the best interests of the child.
Excellent record keeping, report writing, meeting school governors and training colleagues are all aspects of a role which balances strategy and long term projects with immediate day by day challenges.
The successful applicant will be supported and challenged to become the best Safeguarding and Welfare Officer possible.
