For the last 17 years the company has supported, protected and managed IT infrastructure for businesses and has become specialists in the growing area of cyber security, securing on going contracts with multi-national market leaders in the biopharma, government, finance, manufacturing, construction and engineering sectors. Following year on year growth since its inception, LoughTec is now increasing its location footprint as well as increasing our product offerings, hence also staffing levels as we explore future opportunities in IT and Enterprise cyber security within the international marketplace.
LoughTec is seeking to employ an additional Sales and Account executive which will have two main overview responsibilities, support and grow a selection of existing customer accounts as well as importantly winning new logo business.
The right fit
The successful candidate will bring energy, enthusiasm, passion and commitment to the role – someone who can integrate quickly into a high performing team environment but who can also work on their own initiative, due to the nature of this role within IT and Cyber security the applicant will be a naturally tech savvy person and ideally have previous or relevant tech sales and account management experience which would be highly advantageous.
Working with the management team and the marketing function, the successful candidate will:
– Create business development activities for new business in existing market territories
– Design business development strategies for entering new market verticals and territories
– Run end-to-end lead generation and sales processes
– Manage existing prospects through the sales pipeline and relevant CRM systems
– Build relationships with our existing customers and business partners
– Build relationships effectively over the phone and in-person – exhibiting confident communication skills
– Generate new pipeline through prospect cold calling, emailing, presentations, marketing events etc
– Follow up on leads, nurturing opportunities, and closing the sale via phone, e-mail and in-person meetings
– Handle customer account queries for additional equipment, licensing, parts and product sales professionally

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Training
Internal training on products and services will be provided. However, staff are also expected to be consistently keeping abreast of new developments, which would impact on his/her areas of responsibility.

Mileage is claimed at 33p per mile for site visits.
Hours of Work:
Your normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5:00pm.
