We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our SME based at Moulton Park Industrial Estate Northampton. Our company supplies a comprehensive range of on-site communication systems to wide range of industries throughout the UK.
Although predominantly office based the role also involves visiting customers to demonstrate our products and specify solutions for the client's requirements. A quality company car is provided with the position.
You will be part of a dedicated team, working with industry-leading products and services and lead and maintain existing & new customer accounts managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to installation, building relationships and ensuring delivery of excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Sales Account management and internal sales and have a technical bias with the ability to understand & develop their skills with new technology. Working as part of a small team you will be given full support and training on the company s product range.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing new business and existing business opportunities
- Qualifying and converting incoming enquiries
- Providing written quotations
- Recording calls, emails and setting follow up tasks using the companies CRM system
- Inputting new customer details and raising invoices using Quickbooks (training will be provided)
- Ensuring CRM holds up to date client information
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Dealing with existing customer enquiries and ensuring their needs are met
- Sending invoices to clients and tracking to ensure prompt despatch of orders
- Develop and maintain sales pipeline
Requirements
- Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal

- Writes in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate grammar, style and language
- Experienced with using Microsoft Office Product Suite (minimum basic understanding)
