Position & Authority In this role, you will report directly to the Sales Director. You will be required to frequently interact with suppliers and internal departments. You will have the authority to question any instruction that you believe to be incorrect and raise your concern as appropriate.
Administrative Duties Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Order entry for both Domestic (UK clients) and Export clients.
- Supporting the sales team and liaising with a large customer base.
- Job building based on orders being processed.
- Placing purchase orders with local suppliers following instruction against the order being processed.
- Scanning orders in the system, filing according to system structure.
- Raising internal job cards, if required, against individual orders.
- General housekeeping.
- Performing any other administrative duties as required.
- Being self-motivated, and willing to learn and develop further into this role. Must be confident and willing to ask if unsure.
- Full Training given.
Requirements The ideal candidate should have:
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
- Computer literacy, with excellent knowledge of Excel.
