Internal Sales Administrator

Alpha Electronics Group are a UK wide multi-location Test Equipment Solutions Provider, with a portfolio of customers ranging from Electricians, Utilities, Rail, Public and Private sector organizations and companies.

Representing the world’s leading brands of industrial testing instrumentation, the group possess a successful and strong market presence as Manufacturer Approved Suppliers and Service Providers across the UK, which is also complimented by Hire and Training divisions.

We are on the hunt for a new addition to join our busy Internal Sales team in Newport, South Wales.

Role:

• Calling companies to find out information regarding their test equipment requirements and who would be the decision maker.
• Contacting customer for annual calibration recalls.
• Identifying Sales leads.
• Managing smaller customer accounts by developing relationships and increasing sales revenue.
• Meeting set targets as a team.
• General assistance with office administration.
• Liaising with the Service department.
• Working in partnership with the Key Account Managers by passing on leads, working on different projects and discussing sales tactics.

Person:

Preferable but not essential:

• Minimum of 1 years experience within Sales (Internal/Tele sales/Cold Calling)
• Electrical/Pressure systems knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Required:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to listen to customers to understand their requirements.
• Strong administration skills to record all data and learn new systems
• Confident individual with high motivation
• Ability to work to deadlines in a timely manner
