SalaryContactCORP is looking for a Sales Administratorto join our client, a specialist engineering and machinery company in the motorsport industry. This role is full-time, temporary ongoing contract. An understanding of vehicles and engineering is important to ensure customer needs can be met.
Sales Administrator Responsibilities:
- Creating new components / customers on our system
- Ordering components / demands with our different suppliers
- Chasing orders with suppliers, updating delivery dates on our system
- Quoting customers / placing customers’ orders
- Picking and preparing works order kits for production
- Invoicing
- Stock checking - including adjustments on our system
- Servicing
- Filing and archiving
- General cleaning
- Updating spreadsheets - adding new orders, updating the production & servicing spreadsheets, & also teams’ spreadsheets
- Answering the phone
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, identify and prioritise your workload and that of others
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- System process driven with knowledge on Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Further details of the Sales Administrator role:
- Based in Swindon, Wiltshire
- Pay rate: £12.50
- 37.5 hour working week (Monday to Friday)
- Immediate start with full support
