AddressSalix, a member of RSK Group, is seeking an organised and positive Sales Administrator to join our friendly nursery team based in Thetford. This role will be office based and the successful individual will have the opportunity to join an exciting, new part of the business. We are looking for someone with sales experience, who has a get-up-and-go attitude, and someone who will help take the business forward in these new and exciting times.
Wildlife conservation is at the heart of our brand so we are looking for someone who shares these values, and who can help promote our wonderful products. Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and wildlife conservation are topics of great interest and importance, and they are subjects that will influence many businesses nationwide. We want to be at the forefront of these topics of conversation, advocating and selling native wildflower plants and seeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer enquiries, telephone, and email
- Manage daily customer sales
- Research new leads, converting them into new customers
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns and brand promotion
- Print and file paperwork for consignments including delivery notes
- Produce and keep records of all plant passports
- Follow up by email or phone call to ensure all consignments have been collected and delivered to clients
Person Specification:
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant years sales experience
- Previous telephone customer service experience
- Be detail conscious, organised, and attentive
- Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Microsoft literate including Excel and Teams
Salary and Benefits
- £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (flexible)
