Sales Executive Wakefield

Things you need to know:
- These are permanent roles.
- We are based in Wakefield with easy access to car parking space and local bus networks.
- The starting salary is between £23,000 and £25,000 depending on experience, plus a performance-based monthly bonus for achieving sales targets.
- We have a structured training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful.
- Our working hours are Monday to Friday between 8 am-8 pm, with a 9 am-1 pm Saturday shift every 3 weeks.
A bit about the job:
In this role, you will be helping a variety of small to medium-sized businesses find insurance policies that meet their needs. You will speak to new and existing customers who have made an appointment to discuss their insurance (there is no cold calling) and use your communication skills to build rapport, gather the right information to understand their needs, and help them find the right insurance policy, supporting them and providing excellent customer service along the way.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Previous call centre and sales experience is desirable but not necessary. We provide full training which covers everything from our product range to our phone system. It's all very simple with the right training and support.
- We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service with the confidence to secure sales; this means that you put the customer first and take pride in the quality of your work.
- We hire great people from lots of different backgrounds. Some of our Sales Executives had experience working for other insurance companies or in call centers before joining us, but lots of our colleagues join us from jobs within retail, hospitality, care, education, or sales and share our passion for helping people.
- Qualifications are not essential, but you will be able to perform basic maths tasks, use IT systems, and have a keen eye for detail.
- You will enjoy speaking to people and will use your outstanding communication skills to speak openly and expertly on the phone to customers. You will be able to build strong rapport and take a genuine interest in their needs.
- Great team working skills; we work together to help our customers, share ideas to help each other, and have lots of fun working together!
- You will be motivated by working to exceed targets and will combine that focus with the need to always do the right thing for our customers with a dedicated attitude combined with the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus.
