Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Analyst to join our passionate and driven team.

As a leading provider of Facilities Management services, OCS UK & Ireland is committed to creating sustainable solutions that align with our clients goals and objectives. To support our mission, we are looking for a Sales Analyst to join our internal sales organisation. This role is essential for managing the reporting from Salesforce on all sales activity using centralised Power BI tools. The Sales Analyst will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The Sales Analyst will collaborate with Client Solutions Director and the Chief Commercial Officer to design and develop metrics that are consistent with OCS business strategy. By leveraging data insights, visualisations, and analytical expertise, the Sales Analyst will help facilitate informed decision-making, and drive organisational growth. The Sales Analyst will also be responsible for implementing best practices for sales operations, such as forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis. The Sales Analyst will be a leader in promoting sales excellence and efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Analyst plays a vital role inside OCS, as they are responsible for transforming data from Salesforce and other sources into actionable insights using Power BI. The Sales Analyst is expected to have the following skills and competencies:

  • Pipeline Data Management: Collaborate with Sales Teams to ensure pipeline hygiene and data consistency.
  • Data Analysis & Visualisation: Design, build, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and Salesforce reporting, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the UK & Ireland sales teams to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver precise analyses that support sales strategy and objectives.
  • Data Integrity & Security: Implement data quality checks and adhere to data governance and compliance standards across the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce Data Management: Extract, transform, and load data from Salesforce using various tools and methods.
  • Power BI Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including designing and deploying compelling data visualisations and reports, managing Power BI services, and creating custom content packs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Data Modelling Expertise: Ability to create and manage complex data models, including measures, calculated columns, and relationships, using DAX expressions.
  • SQL Proficiency: Extensive experience in writing and optimising SQL queries and working with various relational databases.
  • Data Transformation and Integration: Skill in data transformation, cleansing, and integration with various data sources, both structured and unstructured.
  • Data Governance and Security Compliance: Understanding of data governance principles, including security protocols, user permissions, data quality checks, and GDPR compliance within Power BI.
  • Excel and Office 365 Integration: Experience in integrating Excel and other Office 365 tools with Power BI, creating cohesive and user-friendly interfaces for stakeholders.
  • Cloud Platforms Knowledge: Experience in working with cloud platforms like Salesforce and Azure, managing data gateways, and ensuring seamless data connectivity.
  • Version Control and Collaboration Tools: Utilising version control systems and collaboration tools like SharePoint to manage projects and ensure alignment with team members.
  • Continuous Learning and Certification: Commitment to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest Power BI updates, tools, and acquiring relevant certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
  • Performance Optimisation: Skill in identifying and resolving performance issues, utilising best practices in Power BI report and query optimisation.
  • API Integration: Experience in integrating Power BI with different APIs and third-party tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and actively engage in upskilling, driving innovative solutions in alignment with business goals.
