SMR position is an entry-level field Sales and merchandising position that supports in-store execution of Sales and Marketing initiates. The role will work closely with Sales and Marketing with a primary responsibility to visit retail stores daily to provide customer communication/education on marketing and merchandising initiatives and support increased visibility in priority accounts to drive brand recruitment and increased sales. The SMR will report to the Director of Retail Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to establish weekly priorities and areas of focus
- Visit 15 – 20 stores daily improve brand visibility and execution in the market
- Build relationships with key influencer store category managers
- Ensure Natural Reliance products are well represented in key priority stores
- Perform store checks, place merchandising equipment, sell in secondary placements, verify OOS, re-stock shelves
- Update in-store POS as needed
- Check for Out-Of-Date product and communicate issue to store personnel
- Execute impactful crew drives and sales blitzes as needed
- Report weekly summary of activity
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma/College Degree preferred
- Understand local market
- Personable
- Willing to take initiative without daily direction
- Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
- Driver’s License
- Previous experience in sales
