Sales Assistant

Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking for new dynamic Sales Assistants to join our ever-growing teams.

We have various positions throughout Glasgow including but not limited to, Glasgow cross in the city centre, London road in the east end , Hillington and Motherwell.

You don't have to have experience in the flooring industry, as training will be provided.

You have your basic wage like many other companies in the UK however with direct Flooring the potential for that to increase is limitless as we provide you with commission on sales. On average when commission is taken into account most of our staff earn £14-16 per hour.

There is also the potential for overtime if you are flexible.

Your Role will be as follows.

• Serving customers and dealing with enquiries

• Processing cash, card payments

• Updating customer records in the company's database as required

• Handling product returns and payment refund requests

• Reporting any inventory or service issues to management immediately

• Promoting products based on the company's directives

• Arranging products on the shelves and on promotional displays

• Unpacking and sorting new stock delivery

• Managing product inventory at the store

• Keeping the store clean

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.73-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
