Join a global network of passionate experts – backed by the latest technology, to take your career to the next level.LOCATION SOUTHAMPTON SALARY NEG HOURS 37.5 PER WEEKKey Activities include:• Processing price calculations and quotations for our clients.• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, and colleagues.• Communicating effectively and confidently on phone, email and in meetings.• Being able to process and enter data and manage the company Sales-database and pricing systems.• Supporting the Ocean Bulk Sales team with their own roles.• Managing the link and information exchange between the Ocean Bulk Sales Team and the Operations and Technical teams.• Must be able to self-manage time, systems, and processes.• Being a strong team player, taking accountabilities for all tasks within this role.• Identifying service and system improvements for consideration and implementation.• Completing all statutory and mandatory training and be confident in working with Ocean Bulk products and services.• Be willing, able and have a ‘can do’ attitude.Key Skills:Excel/Word/PowerPoint (must have a high level of competence)• Attention to detail and a high level of computer skills using several computer systems.• Commercial awareness and able to work in a busy office environment.• Clear and concise communication skills.• Ability to support a culture of continuous improvement.• Inter-personal skills: Influencing, communication, relationship management, cultural awareness, and ability to work across teams.• Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: imports, exports, and related processes desirable.• Two or more years’ experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry desirable.• 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English at Grade C or above – or equivalent desirable
