Sales Coordinator

£23,500 to £28,000

Our client, a manufacturer of bespoke products, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Coordinator to join their friendly, supportive team. This is a multi-faceted role which includes supporting customers in the processing of their enquirers and orders, providing support to the sales development team whilst also assisting the projects team with planning and coordination in preparation of tenders/supporting documentation.

The ideal candidate needs to have great organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Learning and retaining technical information and being able to multitask is key.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will be required to carry out various duties which include:

  • Communicating with customers to understand their requirements whilst identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering questions, technical queries, raising quotes including follow-ups, resolving any concerns whilst providing additional product information via phone and email when required.
  • Processing of orders, checking data accuracy, liaising with our production/stores departments regarding manufacture/dispatch of materials.
  • To provide general support within the sales and projects office.
  • Maintaining our database of contacts/prospects and future opportunities.
  • Manage logistics to ensure timely deliveries whilst keeping our customers informed.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will also be required to:

  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and requirements.
  • Look out for the safety and well-being of colleagues and visitors.
  • Understand and follow the procedures defined in the quality assurance manual.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Proven work experience in a sales/project office environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • A desire to exceed expectations.
  • Experience and competency with CRM software and MS Office – MS Excel in particular.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • A team player with high level of dedication.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English language.
  • NVQ in Business/Office Administration or similar would be desirable.
  • IT qualification in Microsoft Office would be desirable.

Full time hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 0800 to 1700 & Friday 0800 to 1300. You will be entitled to a 50-minute unpaid lunch break [excluding Friday] to be taken at times to suit.

This is a full-time role, although part time Sales Coordinator applicants can also be considered (25 hours minimum).

25 days paid annual leave plus public holidays for a full-time position. Pro-rata for part-time
