Sales Development Representative
Up to £35,000 DoE + Uncapped OTE £70,000 + Phone + Laptop + Car Allowance

Having nurtured a strong network of local, national, and global growers - as well as artificial plant manufacturers, we provide clients with the finest domestic and exotic plants for offices, retail, hospitality and public sector spaces.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing viable opportunities, contacting prospective customers, evaluating leads and booking sales meetings alongside selling to our extensive existing client base.
Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals with some experience of the floral industry, although this is desirable rather than essential.
More importantly for you, sales isn't a job, it's a career and you are good at it.

Key Responsibilities
- Be comfortable working closely with the whole team; you are the centre point between the Marketing team who work at one end of the funnel, and the Technical Sales team.
You will need to find, warm up and fully qualify leads, before closing the sale - Confident on the telephone to speak with both totally new and existing contacts
- Some experience of either sales, business development or customer service with demonstrable results-driven outcomes is required
- Good at prospecting cold leads and accurate at qualifying warm leads
- Conduct thorough research on leads, engaging in proactive outreach, developing extensive knowledge of this market
- Establish who is the decision-maker and identify whether the company could use the product range, dig a little deeper to find out if the projects identified need our clients solution, and within what timeframe.
Where possible, also establish budget parameters - Good IT skills and ideally, some experience with a CRM system
Key Skills & Experience
- Have an outstanding record of sales achievement
- 3+ Years sales experience in a similar role
- Excellent networking abilities and providing presentations
- Proven track record of hitting meeting targets
- Be able to work with defined KPI's, processes and guidelines Skills:
- Proficiency in English required, other languages a bonus
- Full training given, but computer literacy is required
- A valid driving licence
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
