As a Sales Development Representative at Crystal Clean Service Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth ambitions and being a point of contact for established clients, with a primary focus on bringing in new clients from cold and warm leads to maintaining high-level relationships with key accounts and decision makers.
You will play a crucial role in our sales and marketing efforts, which involve meeting clients and conducting audits to prepare accurate quotations and the conversion of these proposals to contracts and ongoing clients.

2. Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other prospecting activities to generate leads and identify potential clients. This may include out-of-hours networking events.
- Research and gather information on target industries, businesses, and decision-makers to create a comprehensive prospect list.
- Engage with leads to understand their needs and pain points, effectively communicating our products or services as solutions.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring they meet the company’s ideal customer profile.
- Schedule on-site meetings with potential clients to conduct audits and gather essential information.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand client requirements and prepare accurate quotations.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients through regular follow-up and account management.
- Address client inquiries, provide support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, audit results, and account management activities in our CRM system.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve lead generation, outreach processes, and account management strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities.
3. Competencies Required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong phone presence and comfortable making cold calls.
- Ability to listen, understand, and effectively convey information.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Availability and willingness to meet clients on-site to conduct audits.
- Availability to work with flexibility, possibly including evenings and weekends where networking and events determine.
- A strong focus on customer relationship management and account maintenance.
4. Education and/or Experience
- Essential: Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Essential: Proficient with standard office software.
- Desired: knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
- Desired: Relevant experience in the cleaning industry.
5. Assessment
- Probation review after 6 months
- Timely and accurate progress of prospects/clients through the sales process.
- Review of business growth critical KPIs including conversion rates.
- Error-free recording of information and reports.
- Contribution to process improvements leading to increased efficiency and accuracy.
