Job Purpose:
As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing engineering expertise throughout the sales and contract fulfillment process. Your primary focus will be on supporting the deployment of the company's innovative products into the energy sector and emerging clean energy markets.
Job Scope:
You will collaborate closely with the sales team, project engineers, and operations staff to review client specifications, interpret customer requirements, and generate tailored proposals. Your responsibilities will include evaluating customer process data, conducting product sizing and selection, and developing custom solutions when necessary. Additionally, you will provide technical support for pre and post-contract engineering activities, serving as a key liaison between internal teams, sub-suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Reviewing client specifications and interpreting customer requirements
- Evaluating customer process data to generate product sizing and selection
- Generating gap analysis between customer requirements and standard designs
- Preparing tender and contract review documentation
- Providing technical liaison between internal teams, sub-suppliers, and customers
- Assisting with the generation of customer progress reports

Experience, Professional Qualifications, and Personal Requirements:
- Recognized Engineering qualification (Engineering Degree or relevant experience)
- Minimum 3 years of proven Engineering Experience, preferably in a mechanical engineering discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Willingness to occasionally travel for customer meetings
