This company work in a rapidly growing market, with a customer base that is spread across the UK.
What we would like:
We are actively seeking a UK Sales Engineer, that will be responsible for leading sales activities of Sensor based technology, in the South of the UK, focusing on working with a long-standing existing customer base, as well as generating new business opportunities with new customers.
- Increase sales of temperature, oxygen, and humidity sensor-based technology, with existing customers and by identifying and selling to new customers.
- Drive sales activities in the South of the UK, travel to existing and new customer sites.
- Manage existing customer relationships via regular communication & site visits.
- Educate customers on Sensor based product range.
- Provide input to marketing of products, using market knowledge and information gathered in field.
- Assess customer requirements and advise on best product for solution.
- Autonomously manage and plan your own workload, centred around sales activities and requirements.
- General sales duties such as quotations, costs, reports, CRM usage, recording activities and sales forecasts.
What you will bring:
You will ideally bring several years technical sales experience, either with process and analytical instrumentation or similar sensor-based technology.
- Higher education in a relevant technical field, such as Electronics or Electrical Engineering (Will consider qualified by experience)
- A strong commercial acumen and excellent sales/negotiation skills
- A Proven track record of handling key accounts
- World class communication skills, ability to influence & develop relationships.
- Excellent time management skills
- A Willingness to travel across the South Region of the UK (Central point somewhere around Oxford/Reading area)
