Sales Estimator/ Manufacturing

Our client, a reputable organisation specialising in sub-contract laser cutting services, is looking for an experienced estimator to join their team in Maidenhead, Berks. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries, including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Motorsport, Aerospace, Film, Defence, Food, and Pharmaceutical.

Responsibilities:
* Create detailed quotations from customer drawings/models, ensuring a high standard of service.
* Develop and maintain relationships with both existing and new customers.
* Answer laser sales calls and provide necessary information.
* Convert successful quotes to orders and provide feedback on unsuccessful quotes.
* Communicate with customers regarding the progress of their orders.
* Support the Sales Manager in growing the business in line with the company's vision.
Ideal requirements:
* A background in technical estimating within a related industry, such as sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
* Alternatively, someone with CAD experience or laser cutting experience looking to develop their skills in an estimating/sales environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly and outgoing personality, both in person and on the phone.
* Experience with quoting software or CAD is a plus.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good organisational, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.
* Able to thrive under pressure.
* Hard-working and trustworthy.
* Knowledge of laser cutting and sheet metal work is desirable but not essential.

Salary:

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £28k to £34k per year, with the potential for negotiation based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Additionally, they provide a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, parking and more.
