Sales Estimator

We have an opening for an estimator to join our team to assist in producing tenders for a range of metal products. We would love to hear from new and experienced applicants who feel they could offer something to this role. Training will be provided where necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements
- Conduct cost analysis by gathering information on labour, materials, and equipment costs
- Collaborate with other members of the team to develop accurate estimates
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
- Maintain documentation of estimates, including assumptions and calculations
- Participate in meeting with clients and gathering project requirements

Key Experience:

- Proficient in using spreadsheet software (Required)
- Hold a valid driving licence (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (Required)
- Ability to understand and read technical drawings (Preferred)
- Experience as an Estimator in a similar industry (Preferred)

Mon-Fri. 7.5 hr working shift.

Once trained option to work from home one day a week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 24,000.00- 35,000.00 per year
