Normanton, WF6 1TN, with Hybrid working after probation and training

About the Sales role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Internal Sales and Business Support Representative. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the sales and growth of Frame Build UK and SIP Build UK. You will report directly to the National Sales Director and collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Making outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell products and services.
  • Keeping records of calls and sales.
  • Answering questions about product specifications/availability/pricing.
  • Deal with any issues that may arise and deal with customer feedback appropriately to maintain company reputation. Close the sale.
  • Analytical ability to help estimating department
  • Accurately and efficiently entering customer information into company databases for customer history, mailing.
  • Maintaining a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales calls.
  • Assisting sales colleagues with arranging meetings, sales calls with customers and site visits as required.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork for processing an order and ensure an efficient handover to the contracts team.
  • Maintaining working knowledge of products and services sold and keep informed of current industry developments.
  • Social Media and Marketing tasks.
  • Additional duties as requested by your line manager.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an internal sales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
  • A polite and friendly manner with a positive attitude.
  • Lots of initiative and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
  • Construction Industry experience preferred.
  • Product management or marketing experience.
