Sales Executive, Penrith


Adecco is excited to announce a recruitment opportunity on behalf of our client located in Penrith. We are seeking a candidate with sales experience or a customer service background, possessing the skills to cultivate strong relationships and effectively promote the product.


The position offers a basic salary of £24,675, accompanied by an attractive commission structure. In addition, there are quarterly bonuses based on KPIs. Successful Sales Executives will also earn a 5% commission on any additional sales, with uncapped earning potential.


Hours are Thursday - Monday 10.00am - 17.00pm.


Overview of the role:


The role of Sales executive is responsible for promoting and selling homes and delivering a 5* customer experience through customer-centric sales advice, home and product demonstrations and sales support, which feeds into the delivery of individual targets, budgeted regional sales forecasts and revenue targets and all other operational performance and customer experience KPIs to meet the Region's business plan and future growth requirements.



Key responsibilities:



  • Take a 'whole company' perspective to the performance of Building Homes. Changing Lives by positively influencing the business objectives whilst being Passionate, Collaborative and Respectful and an ambassador for the brand, culture, operational excellence, quality standards and all areas of sales including customer experience, site and product presentation, home demonstrations and handovers.

  • To be an active member of the regional sales team promoting and selling homes and products across developments within the regional operational area.

  • Proactively seeking out and acting on prospective sales opportunities, following up, nurturing and pre-qualifying prospective customers in request of affordability and needs across all sales enquiries through multiple sales channels including telephone, website, email and targeted marketing campaigns to optimise sales performance and deliver personal and regional sales and revenue targets.

  • Deliver informative and clear development, product and plot tours for all prospective customers with a view to building successful client relationships, from initial contact through to appointment, reservation and exchange.

  • Undertake pre-qualified on-site viewing demonstration appointments with customers ensuring that these are a quality experience.


Provide a quality customer experience meeting as part of the wider sales purchase journey ensuring customers receive active support in accordance with customer first guidance.



  • Work in close collaboration with the on-site Construction team and build a positive working relationship, having regular weekly on site sales and build meetings following the company guidance and reporting, work together to identify daily and week priorities in order to drive forward with a site delivery of 5 Star customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Apply customer first training and competencies to achieve successful reservations that maximise revenue outcomes for the business, at all times ensuring individual, regional targets and KPIs are delivered under the directional management of the Regional Head of Sales.

  • Utilise all customer experience and on-line marketing technology available within the business, together with fully furnished show homes and marketing suites and collateral and targeted customer incentives to ensure individual, regional sales performances are delivered in line with the weekly regional revenue targets.

  • Record in a timely and accurate fashion, all sales and service activities and customer/third-party contact information on COINS to maintain an accurate and open log of the customer contact and sales status of each plot and where current/potential customers are in relation to the Customer Journey.

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of New Homes Quality Code, Mortgages and legal conveyancing processes of the customer purchase journey providing early advice and guidance.

  • Work in partnership and actively manage communications and operational interfaces with all team members and other key personnel, stakeholders and departments.

  • Maintain excellent on-site presentation on a daily basis reviewing, identifying and reporting on issues requiring periodical maintenance for show homes and stock plots together with landscaping and garden maintenance to regional sales management thereby upholding the quality, product and brand presentation standards set out in the Customer First

  • Delivers an effective contribution to the region's budget/forecast sales volumes and revenues.

  • Optimises enquiry to reservation conversion rates and delivers against all activity targets

  • Delivers against the requirements of the customer experience.


Required Skills & Qualifications



  • Experience in Sales or customer service.

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills within an on-line context as well as face to face setting.

  • Excellent sales and service communication and product and service presentation skills.
