Job Title: Sales Executive
Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP28,000 + Bonus scheme
Location: Warmley area (office based)
Hours: Mon – Thurs 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
The Role
Join a well–established brand and an experienced, high–performing team within a rapidly expanding manufacturer. Reporting to the Sales & Support Manager, you will be tasked with growing a selected territory and finding new outlets for their highly regarded Trade and Tool products.
As part of a family–owned business known for quality, service, and employee care, you will be part of a vibrant, energetic sales team with excellent support structures.
Responsibilities of the Sales Executive
Utilize inbound and outbound communications to achieve sales targets on a business–to–business basis.Actively prospect across a range of DIY and Trade Woodcare/Decorator Centre/Builders Merchant & Retail markets and manufacturers.Target and prospect contractor end users for certain high–ticket/technical products.Cross–sell or up–sell products where possible for inbound and routine account care.Handle incoming queries and orders.Assist with new business inquiries.Maintain accurate records of all calls and communications.Liaise with appropriate departments to resolve customer queries, orders, and complaints.Proactively work on process and product improvements.Quickly determine and address customer requirements.Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Desirable Experience:
Technical knowledge and experience of woodcare products, general DIY, and trade chemicals (advantageous but not essential).Being a keen DIYer will help.
