Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus bonuses and company commission scheme
Hours: 07:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with up to an hour for breaks.

A growing family-run business supplying fresh bean coffee machines and drinking water dispensers to workplaces across the UK are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our small yet growing team. The successful candidate will have access to the following advantages:

The candidate would need to assist the team effort by completing the following tasks:
- Skillfully handling incoming sales enquiries via the website, email and over the phone.
- Competently seeing through sales enquiries from initial contact, providing correct advice, prompt quotations, following up and closing the sale.
- A skilled approach to new business development (Telemarketing etc) to help the business break into new markets and further penetrate existing markets.
- Sales account management and nurturing customer growth.
- Looking after Customers proactively and passionate to make them happy :-)
- Arranging free trials, demonstrations and appointments.
- Assisting with Sales Support, Sales Order Processing and General administration duties
As a person you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate and interact at all levels of business
- Passionate to do all you can to make customers happy.
- Respond to clients fast & effectively.
- Display exceptional customer service skills
- Keen eye for detail and ability to type accurately and proficiently
- Preferably experience and training in sales and business development and nurturing customer growth.
- Ability and an appetite for new business development, telemarketing etc.
- Positive mind-set and a focused, hard-work ethic.
- Ability to engage effectively with new and existing clients by telephone
- Be a good team player, strive for excellence, set an example that others can follow
- Respect and uphold the Company’s values and pursue the Company’s goals
- To use main features on Microsoft PC and quickly learn to use new CRM software
- Flexible and adaptable to new ideas and continual improvement within the business
- To be able to work independently or in open office environment without distraction
- Good organisational skills
The vacancy is for an internal office based role initially, with the option to fulfil client visits as required once suitable experience and competence demonstrated.
Although experience is preferred, the applicant who demonstrates the best attitude and potential for the role will be considered and given training as relevant.
