Sales Executive (Automotive Technology) Remote Cambridge to £60k
Are you a tech savvy Sales Executive with experience of selling into Far East markets?
You could be progressing your career at a successful scale-up software house.
As a Sales Executive you will focus on selling software as SDK (Software Development Kit) via licencing for the latest generation of cutting edge in car entertainment technology products for the automotive sector and high performance cars to global manufacturers; the product is currently embedded into 35 million cars and that number is rising.
You'll be working with warm leads and upselling to an existing, global client base (80% of sales into existing clients); negotiating contracts and software licensing agreements (SLAs).
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Cambridge office once a month. There are also opportunities for worldwide travel to trade shows and exhibitions to drive customer engagement; you may also need to visit client sites in the UK from time to time.
About you:
- You have experience of selling to global clients with a good knowledge of the Automotive industry
- You're tech savvy, able to build a strong understanding of the product, understand the clients requirements and how the solution can meet their needs
- You're a skilled communicator, able to cultivate consultative business relationships
- You have a good understanding of software licencing agreements (SLA)
- You're degree educated in a STEM discipline
- Ideally you will have Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese), Korean or Japanese language skills, although this is not essential
